  A neuropsychologist can do an evaluation for learning disabilities and write recommendations for accommodations for the school. I agree with Carol Ann. You have to advocate. Schools typically are not going to go to great lengths to thoroughly uncover LD,s. Our insurance covered testing and Dr Borchart was very thorough and had great recommendations.
