Janet J. asked:Disappointed is all I can say. Whoever recommended Funky Plumbing on this site, is sadly mistaken. I called them on 5/2/17 to come and snake my pipes because of a stoppage. They came out on Wednesday 5/3/17 and my mom and dad were here at my house. My father paid FUNKY Plumbing $885 to clear the blockage and run a camera. After about 3 hours, they weren't able to clear it. They returned Monday 5/8/17 afternoon, supposedly ran camera. Mind you, I have no toilets and have to cart my child to the park so he can use the bathroom on Saturday and Sunday. I called Funky plumbing on my way home from work @ 4pm on Monday and asked if they were coming to the house today to finish. Daniel the owner said he forgot to call me and that he couldn't see anything with the camera so they were going to have to dig up a 4 X 4 area of my yard to get to the pipes. The cost for that would be $1600 because he would have to get 3 men to dig. I asked him how much it would cost if I dug the area myself. He said $600. THIS REALLY TICKED ME OFF, and at this point I am thinking I just got screwed for $885. I called to the rescue, The Neighborhood Plumber and low and behold, they unstopped my pipes within an hour and only charged me $300. I have contacted the BBB with this issue. I would like to get a refund of $300 from the $885 FUNKY PLUMBING was paid to pay The Neighborhood Plumber to finish what Funky Plumbing had started. I would not recommend Funky Plumbing to ANYONE!Richard S. replied:Greg Darden southern plumbing and gas (205) 902- 6480. He's been great to to us and many others.
