We loved their work and don't mind the additional cost for travel, but it was definitely a hard decision. Did anyone else go with an out-of-state photographer? How did you find them, and what were your reasons for going with them? Atlanta specific: we're not the only ones in our friend group getting married in a year or so. If you have recommendations, tell us, please!
peachandoakphoto replied:We are using Kelli Lynn Photography in Kentucky. We are photographers ourselves and found her on a mutual Facebook group. We are super comfortable with using an out of state photographer! She explained her file saving process and travel security on the road. On a side note, our wedding photography company is Atlanta based and would love to be referred to your friends for the upcoming year:) www.peachandoak.com

If you DJ at RAW on the side, it's probably not what we are looking for. - Photographer - Anything else you can think of that you want to throw in. Our goal is "good value", meaning "well priced, but still decent quality". We're not looking to spend $50,000 here. We will have a budget in mind, as we will be paying for most of the wedding ourselves due parental contributions being minimal. Thanks!
