Lyndell's Bakery has served freshly baked cakes, pastries, pies, and breads daily since 1887. Located in historic Ball Square, Lyndell's is one of the oldest retail "scratch" bakeries in the country. Pies, breads, specialty cookies, and half moons are chosen as Boston's Best every year and families have enjoyed our custom made cakes forever!
Cupcakes, Italian pastries, bismarks, eclairs, and hand-cut donuts are big favorites. Traditional holiday dinners and family celebrations always include something from Lyndell's. Our products taste delicious because our bakers and decorators make them with enormous pride.
Lyndell's Bakery is the best sweetspot and one of the area's greatest institutions. Celebrate special occasions with us and indulge in one of life's most delicious pleasures.
Best Bakeries?? Please let me know your favorite/ the best bakery you've been to in Boston. I've lived here forever but I always stay close to home. I want to explore more of the pastries this city has to offer.
MBTA accessible please.

[Lyndell's](http://lyndells.com/) in Somerville is awesome, had tons of stuff from there and it was all delicious. About a half mile from Davis, I'm sure you could catch a bus to take down Broadway if you don't want to walk.
