  Can anyone give recommendations on two things, please? First, I need to know what type of flooring, besides carpet, would be extremely sturdy, and good for a home with lots of kids and pets, but not cost a ton of money. Secondly, I need a reliable local company who will come out promptly, give an estimate, be courteous and non-judgemental (our carpet has been DESTROYED doing cat and dog rescue), and who has seriously great prices.
