  A friend of mine is needing some guidance for how to proceed with disputing a decision by her former landlord. We know about the Tenant's Union and Legal Action Center....she is not having any luck connecting with anyone. Is there someone in this group who might have experience with this and can share words of wisdom, or better yet, are there any attorneys that could assist her? She can't really afford legal representation, but could really use some help.

  The attorneys at the Bar Association clinics offer general advice and guidance, but they do not represent clients in court. The appointments are about 20 minutes, and representation ends at the end of the meting. They will refer your friend to the groups like the Tenants Union, Solid Ground.
