  Why is it SO hard to find a reliable plumber??? All I need is some taps replacing. I am now on my 7th plumber, and they and the previous one have both cancelled today and said they will have to come tomorrow instead. I have even gone out and bought the taps myself now, in the hope that just getting someone to fit them might be easier. It's not! I am even paying the emergency rate, because the taps have been leaking for so long, waiting for one of the first 5 to just get back to me with a quote, that water is now gushing from the kitchen tap, and the bathroom carpet is squelchy from the leaking basin tap.
