  I'm coming down to St Thomas and St John for 33 days from late September through the end of October with my wife and child. Any recommendations on affordable car rental agencies? I'll need something with 4 doors that I'm allowed to take to St John. Thank you!

  http://www.discountcar.vi/ make sure when you call that you reserve the 4 door jeep that can be taken over to St John on the Ferry - they dont allow all their vehicles to be taken on the ferry.

  Amalie Car Rental (http://www.amaliecar.com/) is probably who I like best from my years planning vacations here on St. John. Dependable (http://www.dependablecar.com/) and Discount (http://www.discountcar.vi/) do a really good job as well. Whatever you do DO NOT rent from Budget or Avis. Despite being the familiar name they are by far the least dependable option. No other places have simply not had the car as much as them.

  Have always been treated well by http://www.discountcar.vi/ . If you reserve a Jeep they will have a Jeep for you, which you won't find with the national brands at the airport. They're 2 minutes from the airport and they come and get you when you land and drop you off on departure. Good service and good pricing.
