About us

My name is Kim, and I started Photography by Kim many years ago in my hometown of Redford, MI. After working in the field for almost 20 years with several photographers to gain valuable experience, I felt that starting my own business was the natural next step. I took a huge leap of faith and I’ve never looked back! It has been such a sense of accomplishment to watch my little business that started as a side job grow into a thriving business. Photography by Kim is a labor of love and I count myself so fortunate to be working in a field that I am so passionate about.

My goal is to capture my subjects in their truest spirit. I want the images that I take to reflect who you are. When a friend or family member looks through your photographs, I want their reaction to be, "Wow! These photographs really show off your style and personality." That is so important to me.

I am here to capture all the moment's in life that are special to you; such as engagement, couples, maternity, babies, family, couples, sports and seniors.

    Does anyone have any good reccomendstions for a good photographer that doesn't cost a ton that will do maternity pictures and then newborn pictures when the baby is born
