  ISO: My 8 year old male cat has a UTI. The vet says he needs surgery for a blockage although he is peeing, just little amounts. Because the vet wants the surgery done she refused to give me an antibiotic or a pain killer for him. Please someone tell me if there is a vet who will give him an antibiotic or will take payments for treatment. I have tried going to my bank and care credit for money for the surgery route. Until I can come up with the money I would like to put him on antibiotics. Please share with a vet if you know of one who will help a poor kitty and isn't in it for the money upfront. Thanks.
