  Can anyone recommend a good doctors' surgery in Brighton? I've moved down here for uni and need to register at a doctors, but I'm diabetic so will be visiting more often and would prefer a 'proper' surgery rather than the university one. Does anyone know which ones are particularly good/ ones I should avoid? Because I know that where I'm from, some surgeries are fantastic and some never have appointments less than 3 weeks in advance etc.

  I am on the books at [Pavilion Surgery](http://www.pavilionsurgery.co.uk/) - but they are quite big and can be busy. They run the common "EMIS Access" online system so you can book appointments and request repeat scrips without having to phone them up, which is handy.
