I thought it might be a good idea to do a post about local renovation companies, landscapers, handymen ect. I am sure most of us go to kijiji, I just recently have started to get some quotes from a few contractors from there for a few different projects. As usual there has been a few contractors that were great, very pleasant and quick to get back and with great pricing. There were also some people that were not very pleasant, quoted prices that were WAY too high and some that never even responded or didn't even show up when I arranged a time. Does anyone have any recommendations or warnings about contractors or companies? Does anyone have any horror or scam stories? or on the opposite side any good or great service stories?

  I was going to get my driveway done this spring but i had to switch projects and get my bathroom remodeled instead. But if anyone is interested http://www.elitesurfacing.com/ does rubber driveways that go over existing concrete driveways. The price was amazing about half the cost of getting a new concrete or asphalt driveway. I plan on getting my driveway done next year now, right now I am getting a bunch of quotes on my bathroom I will comment on the contractor after I get my bathroom done.
