About us
Basilic Textiles created by Stacey Sterling is located at Pike Place Market Seattle. Stacey began selling her hand painted clothing on the boardwalk in Santa Monica, California. After graduating from college she traveled around Europe, then settled down and made her home on the Island of Ios in Greece. Stacey lived there for 11 years painting clothing, fabrics, and canvas. She sold to over 40 stores all over the country, including her own store on Ios. Both her children Max and Izze were born in Athens. One year after the birth of Izze, she moved back to the U.S. and settled in Seattle. Now she gets her inspiration from the ever changing Northwest sky and natural beauty that sounds her.
