Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable Duct cleaning company?

Check out the National Air Duct cleaning Association website www.nadca.com. In my previous life I owned the second largest indoor air professional duct cleaning company Ductz of Atlanta. That M word can be a serious problem locally. The biggest cauti on is to use a licensed certified reputable company. You do not want some go and blow duct sucker screwing up your duct work. To touch the AC unit in the state of Florida one must be licensed. Just cleaning the duct may not get all the dirt. The coilmay need to be cleaned also please do not waste your money on the folks advertising really cheap prices. A standard sized house with one unit to be thoroughly clean can be in the $450 price range. The best way to protect your ductwork is to use a high quality filter and change it on a regular basis and make sure your HVAC unit is running properly so that it will dehumidifier properly. Good maintenance can save you a lot of problems
Can someone recommend a great local DUCT CLEANING company? I believe there was one on here with fantastic reviews offering a special for $150. :)

Check out this website before you hire anyone. Nadca.com. It's an association for duct cleaners. A strict guideline that they must follow. Information, and who to avoid. Also check out the Better Business Bureau. BBB.ca. Hope this helps.

Go to NADCA.com. Put in your zip code and you'll get a list. Those are certified duct cleaners. Call a few. Anyone using Rotobrush as a method hang up. Anything else is good to go.
We're thinking about having our AC ducts and vents cleaned. Has anyone had this done? Did it make a difference with allergies? Is there a local company that you can recommend? TIA!!

You can go to www.nadca.com, put in your zip code and get a list of companies that are part of this association. Stanley Steemer also cleans air ducts.
Can anyone recommend a reputable company to clean vents and air ducts (in northern NJ, of course)?

I used Duct Dudes.... not sure I'd recommend them though. I should have researched more, but needed to get it done quickly. They did an ok job from what I can tell. I have learned not to go with the companies that have those low ball fees like $59 cuz they just lure you in. Called blow and go. They are a big rip off so steer clear of them. I just wished I had asked more questions of what the service included up front. Was expecting them to do coils and inside furnace but they didn't do all that..... was extra service. Go to nadca.com to learn about services and find reputable company. Good luck.
Air duct and vent cleaning. Go! Who's reliable, reasonable? Who to avoid?
Personal experiences or references welcomed.

Anyone looking for an air-duct cleaning company should make sure they are sending out a NADCA certified technician as a base qualification. www.nadca.com
Looking for a heater duct cleaning company. I've done a bunch of researching & asking around & I've come up empty. Please, only suggestions of someone you've used or someone you know. Google didn't satisfy my needs.
Thanks in advance.

D.J. Cross, Inc. Chimney and Air Duct. We are a family run business operated out of Media since 1981. NADCA trained and certified techs used for duct cleaning. Check out nadca.com to verify certification of our company or others before hiring. A lot of scammers out there who do more harm than good. You can call us at 6104944390.
