I'm wondering, with all the very different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh, do Realtors specialize in only one area? Is it possible to find one with my best interests at heart?   [Kevin Brown of Praedium Real Estate](http://www.praedium.com/) He is a buyer agent which means he only buys homes, does not sell them. Makes it nice since his only goal is to get you a house and not spend time selling one for other people. Myself and a few friends used him to get our first homes. I do not plan on moving anytime soon (or ever) but I would really consider him again if I stay in the area. Really nice guy who knows what to look for before you go through the process of putting in a offer or inspection (such as basic building issues, potential problems, etc.).

  I definitely recommend you talk with Kevin Brown. http://www.praedium.com/ He's an exclusive buyer's agent. We've bought TWO houses using him and you can't do better.
