  My father in law is a carpenter and has done remodeling for the past ~30 years, owning his own business for 20 of those years, but he has since gone the lower stress route of employment from [Bridges](http://www.bridgespbt.com/). Probably only makes sense if you are looking to save a buck because it would be a side job for him (evenings and weekends).
