Chiropractic
Dr. James Drake is a lifelong Rockford area resident. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2003. He enjoys learning new techniques to help patients, including the Kinesio Taping technique as well as the Graston Technique of manual therapy. Outside of work, Dr. Drake enjoys bicycling, playing paintball, and spending time with his three children.
Physical Therapy
Bernadette Petalber DPT, PT, COMT has special interest in orthopedics both surgical and non-surgical conditions and women’s health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from De La Salle University – Health Sciences Institute in 1996. She is an active member of Private Practice section of American Physical Therapy Association and Illinois Physical Therapy Association. In 2009, she received an advanced certification in orthopedic manual therapy for extremities and spine. Then, she finished doctorate program in physical therapy at University of Montana in 2014.
Nolly Petalber, BSPT is a co-founder and Rehabilitation director of Optimum Rehabilitation Center. He has experience in sports medicine, orthopedics and evaluation of seating and mobility systems. In 1992, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy at Virgen Milagrosa University. When he is not working, he continues to be a role model for his family and patients by maintaining an active lifestyle. He likes joining triathlons, playing paintball, road and trail running with his wife, and doing home improvements.
