  Final update (unless I hear more later): Mr. Cat was a bit better this morning. He actually ate some of his breakfast and allowed the techs at the vet to pet him. He has been transported to LASPCA where their vet will perform a thorough exam to determine what he needs. It’s good to know he got to clean in a clean, warm, dry place last night. —————————————————————— Update: I took him to Avenue Vet. Very kind people there! The vet was in surgery so didn’t see him while I was there, but a tech is taking care of him in the meantime. They have a Good Samaritan program so I signed him over to them. If he can be made healthy they will send him to LASPCA to put up for adoption. They didn’t check for a chip while I was there, but I doubt he has one. Tipped ear, skin and bones, and covered in fleas, so likely a stray. Finally, all of you offering to help are wonderful! Thanks so much! Hey folks. I picked up the cat Erica posted about. But, now what? Where can I take it for help?
