  Update- took to the wildlife hospital. Both were scratched up by the cat so didn't know what else to do Anyone know carers or anyone who can care for these two bubs? Petsitting and the cat found them, these are all that's left, not sure if mum is even alive so I'm unsure what to do. I have a feeling if I took them anywhere they'd be put down.

  As per other comments More than likely rats or mice especially if you’re in suburbia but if near the bush and the cat brought them in from outside there’s a chance they might be a small native such as antechinus or a native bush rat, or any number of natives. If you think it could really be native....   Urgent help please I have recently moved into a new house in flame tree 4 months ago So far I have had to pest control house and now tonight I can hear a creature stuck in the wall trying to get up and out its making noises not happy I thought I heard it this morning and obv I was right.

  It MAY be a rodent but you dont want a rat dying in your wall so dont lay baits..it also maybe a native marsupial. It isnt unusual for us to find live healthy possums stuck in walls....you most definitely dont want them dying in your wall as the smell is intolerable for most. The RSPCAs suggestion is good... I found out last week it had been recalled quite a while ago because they aren't safe for babies to be in and could cause a death due to how they lie in it... chin to chest, which can affect their breathing.
