  Does anyone know where I can find support and/or help for children with autism. Well, more advice really. My son is almost 6 and has been diagnosed with autism almost 2 years ago. I've pretty much had everything under control but lately he's been lashing out way more than usual. I just wanna try and talk to other parents who have children with autism and see if what I'm experiencing is "normal" or if something else needs/should be done. Thanks.

  You have to truly find someone that is sound with all of the laws , regulations and the IDEA act which encompasses the rights/rules/regulations for those with special needs. In addition , you must also be firm with the knowledge and terminology behind the IEP/504 plan rendered for your child. This includes collaborating with the school teacher , psychologist and any other outside therapist/specialist.
