New Yorkers, where do you get your best deep tissue or firm massage in NYC? And which massage practice or massage day spa is the best decorated/awesome looking to you? I'm a LMT in Europe and I need your help to approach a number of NY massage practices/day spas for market research in a couple of months.
Please help me out?
Most frequented, best bodywork, greatest indoor decorating.

It's been a couple of years since I last went but I had good experiences at [Great Jones Spa](http://gjspa.com/). They have a steam room, sauna, and a cold plunge pool that you can use if you have an appointment for a massage. So I'd go an hour or so early and relax in the steam room before the massage.
