  Looking for recommendations for dog groomers I have a dog that needs to be groomed in the near future and I'm new to the area. He's not quite a year old and hasn't been groomed professionally yet (besides nails, etc.) and he's sure to be a bit nervous. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for great groomers or suggestions of who to stay away from. I'm not necessarily looking for cheapest but a good value would be best. Willing to travel the city a little bit for the right groomer so, any area suggestions are welcome.

  Dexter's Den in Barhaven has been pretty good for us. We take our Huskies there once a year for their annual groom. Friendly staff, and from what I saw, the dogs generally hang out on a cerntralized social area. Our huskies love it there. 2 years ago they played with 2 labs, and were so relaxed that the groomers actually thought that all the dogs had met before. Anyways, so far so good for them.
