Looking for female family doc in Denver area Hi I'm new to the Denver area and don't really know anyone out here to ask for advice. I have a history of chronic depression, anorexia, and anxiety and while I thought moving out here would give me a new start and new mentality, I only feel worse and my symptoms have begun to manifest themselves psychosomatically. I have a therapist from home that I skype with and while I'd be glad to accept any advice on psychologists/psychiatrists, I'm really looking for a general practitioner who will take the time with me I need to attack my health holistically. I know this is a lot to ask for but any help would be great. Thank you.

I use [Lonetree Family Practice](http://www.lonetreefp.com/). They're way on the south side of town (just off of Lincoln & I-25). Friendly and very comfortable. They don't take medicaid.
New in town, looking for a primary care physician Hi ladies,
I just moved here from NC a couple weeks ago--and I need to find a good primary care doctor who isn't going to harp on the fact that I'm rather zaftig. I know I'm fat, and I'm working to change it, so I don't care to be overtalked or slapped with exhortations to get bariatric surgery. :/
Any advice would be appreciated.
**EDIT:** I have Medicaid, and need a provider that takes it. I called a couple of the places suggested already, and got told that they weren't accepting new patients the second I got the word "Medicaid" out of my mouth. :(
**EDIT 2:** I found a primary care doctor--Denver Health to the rescue! Thank you to all who gave me suggestions. :)
