  Slate roof repair Anyone know any roofers who work on slate roofs? I have a metal ridge cap that came loose in the wind and it’s blowing around creating quite the ruckus. I’ve called a number of roofers, but they don’t work on slate roofs. Would love any recommendations. Thanks!

  Can anyone recommend a good roofer who works on slate roofs and repairs and cleans gutters. We are in the 500 block of East End; our house was built in 1905 and this is the original roof. It isn't leaking but we would like to have it checked with recommendations made for any proactive work and to have the gutters cleaned.

  Hoolahan Roofing in Greenfield. He taught my husband how to patch our roof so that we were able to postpone the roof replacement. When the roof finally had to be replaced, he did an excellent job. If we ever have another roof need, we will contact Hoolahan again. The phone # is (412) 521-0191.
