Looking for gym / fitness center recommendations Hello /r/boston
I'm a young professional who's going to be moving to Dorchester next month and working in Seaport. I'm looking for some recommendations on a gym, preferably one that I can go to right after work without traveling too far. I also don't want a place super expensive but also not a place that will be overly crowded around 5:30pm.
I guess any locations along my commute (on the T) home from work would be good. I mainly do free-weights and machines. Fitness training, pool, sports, etc are not necessary, although I would like to try yoga at some point.
So far, the Wang YMCA of Chinatown seems like a good choice.

By email ask Wang YMCA for a) the list of equipment at the facilities and b) the directory floor by floor of the facilities like the lists at Cambridge Y http://www.cambridgeymca.org/facility/ Keep on hand the list of equipment and floor by floor directory to refer to from time to time. There's a mechanism for email on the Wang YMCA webpage at http://ymcaboston.org/wang Advocate Wang YMCA to put the list of equipment and floor by floor directory on their webpage!
