Beard Barber For whatever reason, I haven't shaved in about 2 months and have acquired a hefty beard that needs some attention. Anyone know of a place I can go relax and get this taken care of that isn't a Sports Clips?

Barber Justin at Esquire Barber Shop in Andersonville is the best there is: [Instagram](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0 ahUKEwjTueHfuZHOAhWE7IMKHSISC-MQFggeMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fbarberjustin%2F&usg=AFQjCNFyw75Ukm1 jNoS63NmXKApio4UX_A&sig2=f-E45Dv_-APXkmWADVqOMg), [webpage](http://www.barberjustin.com/ixnvmewfo7 wwrbj20 u4 kytqbwt43 mx) Reservations are required: esquirebarberchicago.com
Barbershops that specialize in beard trimming? I'm looking for a barbershop in the city that can do beard trimmings. Specifically, one that can shape it while still keeping the length (I'm not experienced enough yet to do it well on my own, and it needs to be done properly for this occasion).
Any recommendations?

Go see Justin at Esquire Barbershop in Andersonville (http://esquirebarberchicago.com) reservations required. Absolute best barber in the city and a wizard with beards!
Looking for a barber. So I made a post a while back, and I tend to lurk everyday but now I need a bit of help. I've been trying to find a good place to get a pompadour. Any people know a great place for stuff like that, doesn't matter if it's a barber shop or a salon I just wanna get my pomp on. Thanks r/chicago

Don't let their shitty website discourage you but [Esquire](http://www.esquirebarberchicago.com/) in Andersonville (Clark/Foster) is fantastic. Last year one of the men's magazines (*GQ, Playboy, Details - can't remember which*) rated it one of the top 10 classic barber shops in the country. Plus their prices are entirely reasonable. I think they start at $15 and go as high as $25. Plus you can get a nice hot shave there if you'd like. It has a diehard following of men young and old. Nothing fancy or hipster but just a classic barbershop with good service, prices and cuts.
Looking for an old barber shop/shave shop for a pre wedding groomsmen my best friend is getting married in September in Chicago. The day of the wedding, while the bridal party is getting ready, I was hoping to find a old time barber/cigar/whiskey/shave bar to hang out in, get a nice shave, smoke cigars and general man stuff. Anyone know of a place like that in downtown Chicago? Thanks Reddit!

http://www.esquirebarberchicago.com/ does them. You may not want to do it the day of though as you might look a bit pink in the pictures. Talk to them and test it out first. Edit: Sorry, I missed you said downtown chicago. This is up in andersonville.
Barber recommendations? Does anyone know of a good barber in the city that can fade *and* use scissors? Specifically, I'm looking for a clean comb over fade.
EDIT: Thanks for all the suggestions people!

[Esquire Barber Shop](http://www.esquirebarberchicago.com/) is pretty great. $17 will get you a professional cut and clean by a real barber in a real barber shop. edit: it has the added bonus of having a cut pug that hangs out in the window all a day
