In talking to our neighbors about their similar projects within the last three years, our preferred GC's estimates are coming in really high.   I would highly suggest checking out http://www.naricharlotte.com/ It is a nationally accredited association of remodeling contractors that are vetted as part of the membership process. I am in no way affilliated with them but i have good luck hiring contractors from their membership
