I have spoken to a couple of companies but the pricing ($270 for 45 minutes of work) seemed high. I was wondering if there are any good, licensed/insured electricians out there that work on an hourly rate? I have about a day's worth of work, maybe a day and a half... Looking for: Reliable Honest Licensed/insured Quality work I swear if I meet with another contractor who doesn't bother sending a quote and just doesn't answer any follow up emails... On a side note. I have no experience working with contractors. Are they generally this unprofessional? Do they not realize that one day business may not be booming? I mean just reply and give me an absurd price or just say you don't have time. Just be professional.

  I work for a small renovation company so I might have a bias to it but I think we do pretty good work. We're licensed electricians and do mostly renovation work from bathrooms and kitchens to whole houses and the in between, we know other licensed trades so what we can't do, we get qualified professionals to handle.
