Koala Park Laundromat is open 5.30am to 10pm 365 days here on the sunny Gold Coast.
Our self service laundromat is conveniently located on Ikkina Road, just off the Gold Coast Highway in Burleigh Heads.
Koala Park Laundromat is a family owned and operated business that has been an integral part of the Burleigh Heads community since the 1960s.
The laundromat features a quirky beach-house interior that reflects its seaside location.
The premises, machines and filters are cleaned daily.
Koala Park Laundromat features:
► 1 x enormous 27.2kg Dexter washing machine (6 baskets)
► 2 x massive 18 kg Dexter washing machine (4 baskets)
► 2 x large 14 kg Dexter washing machines (3 baskets)
► 2 x 9kg Dexter washing machines (2 baskets)
► 4 x 7kg top loader washing machines
The 18kg machines are ideal for doonas, blankets and other large items and will save you $$$ in dry cleaning bills.
► 8 x powerful gas dryers - Each dryer's capacity is 14kg which equates to 3 baskets of laundry!
► A coin change machine
► A washing powder and fabric softener dispenser at $2 x sachet
► A large folding table
► An official Little Free Library - the first on the Gold Coast - opened 12 July 2016. We are Charter No. 41621. Take a book - leave a book.
► A high resolution CCTV system with a back-to-base security system to monitor the premises 24/7

► Our 27.2kg capacity machine (equivalent to 6 baskets of laundry) T900 machine is $17 for a cold wash, $18 for a warm wash and $19 for a hot wash)
► Our 18 kg capacity (equivalent to over 4 baskets of laundry) T600 Dexter washing machines are $12 for a cold wash, $13 for warm and $14 for hot.
► Our 14 kg capacity (equiv to 3 baskets of laundry) T400 Washing machines are $9 for a cold wash, $10 for warm and $11 for hot.
► Our 9kg capacity (equivalent to 2... show more baskets of laundry) T300 washing machines are $6 for cold, $7 for warm and $8 for a hot wash.
► Our 7kg top-loader washing machines are $5 per wash (whether cold / warm / hot) and take approximately 25 mins
► Our 8 x powerful, hot gas dryers run for 7 minutes for $1

Koala Park Laundromat is located in a small complex of 5 shops on Ikkina Road, just off the Gold Coast Highway at Burleigh Heads.
The complex features a convenience store, a bottled water company, a super-friendly hair dresser and a busy cafe with coffees, reakfast and lunches that are to die for.
To kill time while you wait for our machines to work their magic, there is a small children's playground less than 30m from our launderette's front door. We also have an efficient 'Drop and Go' wash, dry, fold and ironing service that has 24 hr laundry lockers so you can drop off and collect your laundry / ironing any time 365 days.
