I always try to ask friends about their experiences with people but I don't have any friends in Portland that have worked with a real estate agent. That said does anyone have a real estate agent that they'd recommend? Lastly - more curious than anything else. What do you think of Portlands economy? I've seen an uptick in property values. Is the ob market improving as well?

One thing that strikes me as awesome is she actually personalizes her mailings and contacts. We get hand written notes for holidays here and there and asks about our kids. +1 for an honest and personable realtor.
