  I don't know of anyone in Deer Park, but I can recommend someone in Stony Brook (it's a hike, I know) who is fantastic. All my pets since I was a little kid have gotten care from Dr. DeVerna and his staff at [Three Village Veterinary](http://www.threevillagevethospital.com/), and they have always been excellent.
