  Looking for a ferret veterinarian in SE Portland I used to live in North Portland and went to Lombard Animal Hospital. They are great people and took great care of my 3 aging ferrets. Now, I've moved to SE Portland and it would be great not to have to trek all the way back up to North Portland to get my ferrets seen. Does anyone know of a vet in SE Portland/Sellwood/Milwaukie that routinely sees smaller animals?

  There's an exotics vet on Sandy that sees ferrets but that's NE https://www.avianexoticvetcare.com/ We have chinchillas and haven't found anyone in SE that sees them. Our vet is in Beaverton.

  Yes! We've been to several. Far and away, the best and most knowledgeable about hedgies is Avian and Exotic Veterinary Care on NE Sandy. (Wish we'd found them sooner- they saw our girl Starlee through the last stages of WHS). Stay the hell away from Dr. Burgess of Southwest Animal Hospital. (Sorry, maybe he's great with bunnies, but we had a really rotten experience with him- like malpractice fatality rotten). We've done well with Dove Lewis for emergencies, but they're not exotic specialists.
