Pediatric Psychiatrist Recommendations in Northtowns I'm looking for a pediatric/adolescent psychiatrist for my 16 year old son whom has an office in the Northtowns as we are very close to Lake Ontario in Niagara County. I know that the majority of appointments are typically conducted right now via zoom, virtually, etc due to the pandemic which is fine. I'd just like to find an office with a great Dr. that is somewhat nearby once appointments can be safely done in person.
Specifically, I'm looking for a psychiatrist that specializes and/or has experience with Asperger's Syndrome and it's comorbidities such as ADHD, anxiety, ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), depression, etc.
Thanks in advance

UBMD Psychiatry typically has a waitlist but they have some of the most experienced adolescent psychiatrists in the area: https://ubmd.com/practice-locations/practices/psychiatry.html I heard that Suburban Psychiatry is taking clients now: https://www.suburbanpsych.org/ Stonelea Family Counseling is in NT and have some of the best therapists, they can recommend a psychiatrist and work in partnership with them: http://www.stoneleafamily.com/ Good luck! It can take a lot of persistence but it is worth it to find a good fit for your son. :)
Good therapist recommendations? I have been having anxiety/depression for a while now. I haven't received treatment before. I am looking for a good therapist to help with this and someone who takes insurance. Any suggestions?

[Suburban Psychiatric](https://www.suburbanpsych.org/) has been helpful, especially if you need to be seen sooner. Good luck, OP!
Mental health treatment Recommendations? 21 yr old male suffering from depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. Things have spiraled out of control for me and as daunting as getting help seems to me right now, I know I can’t keep living how I currently am. I was just wondering if anyone has recommendations for psychiatrists/psychologists, or treatment facilities that may be able to help me. Thank you.
Edit: just want to say that I am so blown away by how supportive everyone on here has been. This is a great example of how awesome the people of Buffalo truly are. Thank you so much everyone, and I thank you especially for turning my apprehension into full blown optimism!

I’ve been happy with Suburban Psychiatric—you can receive counseling from psychologists and meds from psychiatrists. I believe they have multiple locations: http://www.suburbanpsych.org Good luck, OP!
Anxiety and depression psychologist or counselor recommendations? Going through a bit of a rough patch in life and could use someone impartial to help. Can anyone recommend a good counselor or psychologist? Thanks.

[Ed Gianino](http://www.suburbanpsych.org/about.html). He also has an office in downtown Buffalo. He's very caring and kind. Helped me through some stuff.
