Did a spontaneous trip to Bordeaux with my wife. Are there any good wineries we could visit just by showing up? Meaning, not have to make reservations or book in advanced. Title says it all. We're hoping to drive to a few wineries tomorrow but everything I google shows as requiring advanced reservations.
We didn't know we would have the time to travel until a few days ago so no research went into this trip.
Just wondering if anybody knows of any good ones that would be okay if my wife and I just showed up unannounced.

I was in Bordeaux last summer and found that most are by appointment only. Your best bet is to book tickets through www.bordeaux-tourisme.com. We saw a few wineries in Saint-Émilion that way. We also hired a guide to drive us around Medoc, and she made appointments for us. I highly recommend a visit to Bar a Vin at l’École du Vin. They will do tastings on a walk in basis, and their prices are excellent. Not the same as visiting a winery, but a good way to try a variety of wines.
Can anyone recommend good wineries to visit in the Bordeaux region? La Cave Dourthe in St Emilion was suggested, does anyone know of any others? I'm going on Friday, we'd like to taste some different things & learn a bit about them.
Désolée pour l'anglais, je pouvais pas trouver la phrase correcte en francais!
