  I deal with a lot of home inspectors, in my business. You're actually better off hiring the individual trades to look over the house. If an inspector sees something he doesn't understand or hasn't seen before he's going to recommend you hire a specialist. That being said if you do go with an inspector I recommend Bob Medlin, he is one of the better ones in the area. http://www.bobmedlinhomeinspections.com/
