  Home inspector recommendations? I know my realtor can suggest some and I can use yelp... but I've heard that you should consider finding your own home inspector (versus going with the one your realtor suggests) and also the reviews on yelp seem kind of sparse. (Not a whole of reviews for most places and the ones that have reviews have all been rated highly.) Anyone here have one that was great to work with and that you'd recommend?

  Jeff Prokaski! Really thorough and puts together wonderful reports that are so helpful in the future. He broke down code issues, and possible maintenance areas. Plus he told us how to fix things properly for our own piece of mind! Completely helpful for a homeowner newbie such as me.
