  I really like Rimsky Korsakoffee House on 12 th near Morrison (east side): https://plus.google.com/104008910762559205153/about?gl=us&hl=en It's an old victorian house with a great ambiance and often have live classical music (usually piano, guitar, or violin). They have several nice coffee and non-coffee drinks as well as some tasty desserts and cozy tables. I really like their steamed milk with vanilla in it. Down in the Pearl District, Via Delizia (http://viadelizia.com/) has some great desserts too.
