I'm converting a garage into a home office. I'm looking for an alternative to a 9 x 7 garage door. Criteria in description. Any ideas? What I'm looking for:
* something that allows in natural night.
* Something that frees up the ceiling space to give it more of a feel of a regular room.
* Not too expensive (~2k, but the cheaper would be great) something that still could function as a door (open and close to let a vehicle in). This last criteria is to keep the resale value of the house, if need be.
I am located in the South East. My experience level with home improvement is in between beginner and moderate, likely closer to beginner.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I see these doors being used in cafe's all over the place. It doesn't leave your ceiling uncovered, but I imagine it would function fine with recessed lighting. http://www.etogaragedoors.com/contemporary-full-view-glass-garage-doors/glass-garage-door-full-view-aluminum-clear.html
