  Looking for Dentist Hey everyone! Just looking for suggestions for a decent and affordable dentist, preferably in the square one area. I've got a wisdom tooth that's really painful. However, I currently don't have any dental coverage so I'm not too sure what to do. I know that the dentist would probably have to do a referral for an oral surgeon. How much is it usually to get a wisdom tooth extraction done? Is it possible to just go to a dentist and get a prescription for the pain without having to do an extraction? I have a terrible toothache and can't wait for weeks. What do I do? The Faculty of Dentistry has a limited number of emergency appointments. Call Patient Reception at 416-979-4927 to enquire about emergency appointments. The Oral Surgery Department can perform tooth extractions for patients who do not want any other dental treatment. Call the Oral Surgery Department at 416-979-4923 to enquire about Oral Surgery appointments.
