  these folks might be up to the task, I like their shop but it is in the east lansing vicinity...even so I buy xc supplies there,http://stores.summitsports.com/stores/ and for those who want to just rent or try out skiing for a few hours or so don't forget the parks sometimes have rentals, burchfield park in holt area in ingham county and also here in eaton county there is https://www.eatoncounty.org/departments/parks-department/120-departments/parks-department/171-cross-country-skisnowshoe-rentals
