  Seeking Psychiatrist recommendations in Boston area My boyfriend and I recently moved up to Boston from the midwest. He had been prescribed antidepressants and adderall through his past doctor, which works fantastic for him, and needs to find a new local doctor to keep his usual medications going. He's worried about the effect any lapse in treatment will have on his job. Does anyone have doctor recommendations? Can a PCP keep his scripts going or can he make an appointment directly with a psychiatrist? Does he need a referral from a therapist?
