  Myra, try calling Dynamic Appliances in the Bronx at 718-824-2400. I've been working with them on my air conditioner scenario (needs freon, decided to purchase a new one, new one being installed on Monday). Very customer service oriented. Removed the old A.C. and installed a bracket.

  Would anyone have a recommendation for air conditioning repair? The air coming out of the unit is cool, not cold. The filter is clean and have turned it on and off to see if this would help. With the dog days of summer ahead, I would rather deal with this sooner than later. Many thanks in advance!

  Another lead here - Dynamic Appliance in the Bronx repairs air conditioners. 718-824-2400. Pick up and delivery; A dose of freon is about $200. Came recommended by the manufacturer. Sharing this info because there may be others out there whose ACs start acting up. Thank you all for the tips and info. Will Veras Sounds like you're on the money. Did clean the filter again and so far, diagnoses seems to be the freon. Michael Trei Your comment gave me the opportunity to consider replacing than repairing. Will decide on Monday.
