I vowed never to return to that place if I can help it. So I'm looking for a vet that'll be good for my large breed dog. One that actually cares about the animal's wellness, not just selling a Wellness Plan. I take my cats to the VCA in West Sac and I like it well enough, but figured I'd see what recommendations you folks have.

  OMG, don't go to Banfield! They are the absolute devil. We go to Dr. Saraydarian (though I can't pronounce his name so I call him Dr. Serendipity) in Elk Grove. Very experienced and good prices. http://www.countryveterinaryhospital.com/ Another option is VCA Bradshaw but do not let them just assign you to a vet. Request Dr. Catching or else don't go there.
