Looking for a Sushi Restaurant, but only finding locations with huge menus and fish as a small part. Hello Bay Area!
I'm visiting from overseas and I'm struggling to find a dedicated Sushi Restaurant. While I've looked at some amazing menus the only ones I've found seem to only do rolls or have a very narrow selection.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally I'm looking for a place with a large variety of fish and a specialization in Sushi. I'm taking my girlfriend who has never had raw fish before so I'm hoping to find an upscale chef's tasting/boat/sampler with Maki, Sashimi, Nigiri, and others.
Thanks so much for all your help!

In Berkeley, there's [Kirala](kiralaberkeley.com). It's a mixed Japanese place and when I last went a couple years ago, I could have sworn that there were more than a couple pure sashimi orders, but they have dozens of sushi rolls of all varieties. It's pretty expensive but has very high quality ingredients.
