Looking for a buffet restaurant that serves authentic/Filipino cuisine with good ambiance, suggestions? Hi r/philippines , I am looking for a place to do my rehearsal dinner Metro Manila area next year for my wedding (I'm not familiar with Metro Manila, but a lot of the guests will be staying in Ortigas/Marikina/Taguig area). A lot of my wedding party will be flying over to the PH, so I'd like to do it in a nice restaurant that serves good Filipino food. It's for around 40 people, preferably I'd like a private/semi-private area in the restaurant
Appreciate it, thanks!

Look for ancestral homes turned into [restaurants] (http://www.livetoexplore.ph/dine-and-turn-back-time-top-10-ancestral-homes-turned-restaurants-in-metro-manila/). There should be a couple in San Juan and in Marikina.

Check Chef Laudico Guevarra, San Juan. Do make your reservation a week early as they are almost always fully booked.

If you really want to make an impression, try renting out a private kitchen. **Purple Yam** in Malate **Damaso Residencia** in San Juan **Tahanan Bistro** in Rizal and if you're willing to make the trip: **Balay Dako/Antonio's** in Tagaytay.
