We both really like Joy's, near campus, but I'm looking for something a little nicer. Not too expensive - under $20/person, ideally. We have a car so as long as it's in columbus that's fine.   People have already said "Akai Hana" several times, and I'll voice my assent on that choice. House of Japan does a good job with teppanyaki-style meals. Or you could choose Benihana in Polaris. Hunan House and Hunan Lion are high on my list for "sit-down" Chinese dining, followed by China Dynasty. For quick Chinese food, try Sun Tong Luck on Bethel road. Great quality, big portions, and friendly fast service from one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
