Looking for a restaurant/bar with a certain kind of vibe. I wanted to take my sister out for her birthday and was hoping to find the type of place she always hopes to find, so why not ask reddit?
So anyone know of a place that's quiet/low key, smaller, dark and stone walls? Thanks!

[Sanctuary](http://www.sanctuaryminneapolis.com/) would fit the bill.
Recommendations for fancy, fine-dining type restaurants? Hey r/minneapolis.
I want to take my wife out to a really nice restaurant. We're pretty familiar with a lot of area restaurants, but tend to avoid the really expensive places and end up at spots like Brasa, Townhall Tap, Matt's, etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations for fine-dining type restaurants? The type with a nice, quiet atmosphere where we can get dressed up and not feel out of place?

I highly recommend [Sanctuary](http://www.sanctuaryminneapolis.com/). It is literally impossible to not get laid after taking your significant other to that restaurant. Dress to the nines and review the menu and wine list in advance because it changes. [Kikugawa](http://www.kikugawaatriverplace.com/) is my backup.

La Belle Vie, dining room or lounge both have menus and are perfect for people who want to not look out of place in a suit. Best restaurant in the city in food, service and drinks. Edit: Other good options for dressing up (with food that ranges from good to great): Vincent, Butcher & Boar, Cosmos, Marin, Manny's (or any downtown steakhouse), Oceannaire, Sea Change, Sanctuary, Burch, etc.
My girlfriend and I have our anniversary coming up this weekend, can anyone recommend a nice, but reasonably priced restaurant within walking distance of the Guthrie?

I'd recommend Sanctuary (the restaurant). I'm not sure if it counts as reasonably priced, but I think it can be as long as you are careful about what you order. http://www.sanctuaryminneapolis.com/

I think somebody mentioned it but Sea Change is pretty good I was impressed my first time there, otherwise Sanctuary is right down the street. Wasabi usually has cheap and decent sushi.
