I've been there many times but never for a multiple night stay. Where are some ideal locations to look for hotels? Obviously the trifecta of reasonably priced, close proximity to things, and safe area is hard to come by. Are there any areas with any really cool bars around for some 22 year olds that aren't looking for a club scene? We're looking into a lot of things to do such as MoMA, Restaurant Week, rooftop/fireplace bars, the usual landmarks and any other suggestions, so we're open to any areas as long as they aren't insanely expensive.
