  Just a clarification: I appreciate your curiosity and your openness but we're not French, we're Québécois. Just like English-speaking Canadians aren't British or Americans. I see someone recommended Pied de Cochon on Montcalm but it's not my favorite tbh. Their food is very classic but that's a really tacky place imo. I personally prefer [Le Cellier](http://www.restaurantlecellier.com).
