Looking for Cardiologist recommendations I am covered under Maryland PAC insurance which covers doctor visits but not specialists. My primary care Doctor has told me that I have a heart problem that he cannot diagnose and that I must see a cardiologist immediately.
I don't have any way of paying for a cardiologist visit out of pocket, so I am requesting any help in finding a cardiologist that can somehow work with my situation to accept PAC insurance. Or some kind of clinic that specializes in helping lower income people.
Any help or resources will be greatly appreciated as my condition gets worse every day. Thanks in advance.

If you are in the Baltimore area, I would go with Saint Joseph's in Towson (used to be owned by Catholic Health). http://www.stjosephtowson.com/ I've used them in the past (valve replacement) and the quality of care was excellent. Believe they were recently bought by Univ of MD and no longer a part of Catholic Health but may be more accommodating then many of the hospitals that are using a for-profit model. Hope everything works out for you.
